About Mirror of My Self

Self is God. Self is Guru. Self is Everything.

This blessed mirror reflects nothing but the Self of my Beloved Brother, my Highest Gurudeva and my Spiritual Father. Whatever you see, read and experience in this blog are only from Him, through me, for you, my dear visitor.

This slave is taking immense pleasure in welcoming you to experience my Self in all its glories!

The Budding of A Lotus Flower

In the filthy pool of my mind,
The roots descend, soiled.

From the filthy pool of my mind,
The flower-stalks ascend, unsoiled.

For the bud to bloom, some day,
I wait...
Unravelling its petals, each day.

Some petals unravel...
The heights of my vanity

Some petals unravel...
The flights of my sanity

Some petals unravel...
The scars of my past-dusks

Some petals unravel...
The dreads of my future-dawns

Some petals unravel...
The inanity of my creeds

Some petals unravel...
The futility of my deeds

Yet,
with pain,

I keep unravelling...

Seasons change.

With each petal unravelled,
Peace and Joy abound!

With each petal unravelled,
Silence and Nothingness unbound!

In that utter void, some day
When unravelling is beyond my way
The Magnificent Sun will rise, gloriously!
Blossoming my Heart-Lotus, resplendently!
...........................................................
I bow, and dedicate this poem
to my beloved brother, my dear Guru, Shri Ramesh Sadasivam,

for sowing and nurturing the spiritual seed in me.
Without you, my beloved anna, this flower would never blossom!

Mani, Wonderful. Your poem unravels the beauty and joy of the Silence and Nothingness where Peace abounds in the "Heart-Lotus". Each petal beautifully unfolds the efforts and there is no futility but hope.
