#Being Pramoda...

It's a wish to experience the Divine Ecstasy, which is our true nature!

Pramoda...the joy, peace and happiness we experience, it may be thru Art, Poems, Books, Nature, Writing, Love, you name it, are not even a drop of His bliss.....yet I'm content...and mind strives only for these transitory pleasures, which we put great effort, and energy to get....but their happiness lasts not even for moments! There is something or the other we always want. The desires only multifold...they are not quenched!

Moreover, God's Grace is always there for everyone who longs for Him...Only longing and thirstiness can take us closer to Him....hence my prayer :-)

Also, I'd like to share an anecdote shared by Shree Ramakrishna Pramahamsa....

A child before going to sleep says to its mother: "Mamma dear, awaken me when I shall feel hungry."

The mother replies: "Do not worry about that, my child; thy hunger will awaken thee."

I really wish to be awaken from my slumber!!

Thanks a lot for showing interest and giving me a chance to explain....if u ve anything to share, question or disagree, plz be free, I'd be happy to know ur views :-)

Thanks again :-)

Sorry for the late reply Pramoda....Thank You for your generous words of praise...But I actually don't deserve them :-)

Am glad to know that you expected this answer from me... So thanks for the understanding and respecting others' choices...I like that attitude. Though I wonder that is God really a choice? :-)

Actually I am surprised to know you don't believe in God...Since it comes from you...I really want to know why? And what's your views?? If you find time and like to share it with me do reply :-) I'd be happy!

The hunger, the thirst ,the longing the tears for God also come only through His Blessings.
The very fact you can write like this shows you are Blessed.
May His Divine Grace be always on you.

If you can bring so much magical charm in two lines, wonder what you would do if it were longer. My thirst for longer poems from you remain unquenched

**The hunger, the thirst ,the longing the tears for God also come only through His Blessings.

Very true. I completely agree with u...

"Avan arulaale avan thaal vanagi!"
Reminds me of Manikavaasagar's line....

Thanks a lot for your heartwarming comment...makes me feel I'm blessed :-)

Mani,

bit of ashamed to admit that I didn't understand it much though saw everyone praising you :(. I can understand the cup is overflowing, but why do want to be thirsty? waiting for your explanation :)

:-)

Mustaf, firstly, let me thank you for showing interest and giving me a chance to explain....

I'd like to share the same explanation I gave for a fellow blogger pramoda...

The joy, peace and happiness we experience, it may be thru Art, Poems, Books, Nature, Writing, Love, Relations, you name it, are not even a drop of His bliss.....yet we're(at least I'm :-)) content...and mind strives only for these transitory pleasures, which we put great effort, and energy to get....but their happiness lasts not even for moments!

A child before going to sleep says to his mother: "Mamma dear, awaken me when I shall feel hungry."

The mother replies: "Do not worry about that, my child; thy hunger will awaken thee."

I really wish to be awaken from my slumber!!

Mustaf...if u ve anything to share, question or disagree, plz be free, I'd be happy to know ur views :-)

Thanks again, my friend!
